Service to my fellow human beings is what makes my spirit come alive.  I received my degree in Elementary Education from Baylor University in 1999, with a specialization in early childhood education.  I taught English in Costa Rica early in my career, returning to the United States to focus on teaching first grade for many years before staying home to raise a family.  

In addition to teaching school, I have served my community in various capacities, owned a yoga studio and completed a vigorous training program to become a certified life coach, followed by coaching clients for several years.  I feel it is my life’s calling to help others live in a manner in which they feel most alive and connected with their own humanity. 

I love spending time with my three children, my fabulously supportive husband and our menagerie of animals.  I love to read, travel the world, eat good food, rescue animals and immerse myself in nature any chance I get.
